I’ve got quite a few books going at the moment, and today, I have to choose which one I will prop on my chest while I doze off into a nap.

The Robber Bride by Margaret Atwood, which I’m really enjoying because it’s multiple perspectives and great characterization.

Searching for God Knows What by Donald Miller. I’m reminded here that relationship is better than right.

Shadow of Night by Deborah Harkness. It took me quite a while to get into this one, but I’m fascinated by the history and setting now.

I expect I’ll go with Harkness . . . vampires and lazy afternoons seem to go, ironically, well together.
